This website was created by a group of students from the LWTC Dental Hygiene Program in order to promote oral health for the Russian community of King County, Washington. Our goal was to create a website that would benefit both patients and dental professionals, as well as to help Russian speaking patients communicate with dental professionals.
Patients can find important information about oral hygiene techniques for use at home, prevention of dental disease, interesting dental health facts, and a list of clinics in the Seattle area that accept DSHS or other government dental programs. Patients will also find information on free children's dental care in our state - most children are eligible for coverage up to a certain age. All of the above information is available by clicking on the "Patients" or “Clinics” tabs.
Dental professionals will find quick translation sheets that will help communicate with the Russian speaking patient, as well as a list of DSHS clinics to refer patients to, if a procedure cannot be completed in their office. Click on the “Clinics” or "Providers" tabs for more information.
We would like to ask you to take a few minutes and answer our quick surveys both before and after you browse our website. Dental patients can find these under the "HOME" tab in the “Patient Pretest” and "Patient Feedback" drop-down tabs. Dental professionals can find them under the “Provider” tab in the “Provider Pretest” and "Provider Feedback" drop-down tabs.
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Seattle Dental website.
Thank you,
