5 Requirements of long-term occlusal health:

1) stable stops

2) anterior guidance

3) disclusion of all post teeth in protrusive movement

4) disclusion of all posterior teeth on working side

5) disclusion of all posterior teeth on non-working side

TOOTH MOBILITY MILLER CLASSIFICATION

• Grade 0: no noticeable tooth mobility
• Grade 1:  first distinguishable tooth movement greater than normal physiologic movement
• Grade 2: Horizontal movement up to 1 mm
  From central axis to either direction
• Grade 3: Horizontal movement >1 mm OR
  Tooth can be depressed into socket or rotated
