HOME ORAL HYGIENE

Home oral hygiene is very important and requires constant everyday care. Most people should be brushing their teeth at least 2 times a day and floss daily. For some, additional tools and rinses are recommended such as Listerine rinses twice a day, or rubber tip massage. There are oral hygiene aids such as perio aids that can be used for deeper pockets.
We will cover basic techniques here, such as tooth brushing and flossing, that everyone should be doing daily. Your hygienist or dentist will educate you on more advanced oral hygiene tools such as perio-aids.
Please note that you can also download a printable copy of our guides in the pdf format (pdf viewer is required).
